FAQ
Some regular questions from business owners.
I am an ex-Utilitywise customer. Help!!
Unfortunately Utilitywise ceased trading in February 2019.
Hyyper Energy Solutions are happy to take over and review your future prices. Please contact us.
How long will this take?
If you have a current invoice to hand (and preferably a renewal letter – though not essential) it often takes only a few minutes to secure a lower gas or electric price.
I HAVEN'T SEEN MY RENEWAL LETTER, WILL I GET ANOTHER ONE?
Unfortunately only one renewal offer letter gets sent, normally 120 to 60 days before the end of your contract. Our live calculators can give estimated price rises.
WE WANT TO STAY WITH OUR CURRENT SUPPLIER?
No problem, we can still offer a lower renewal price and you can stay with your current supplier.
WE WOULD LIKE TO SWITCH TO A NEW SUPPLIER. CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, some businesses switch for a better price and some just for a better service.
We can look at the market and switch you easily.
WE HAVE A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT IN PLACE. CAN WE SWITCH?
No, sorry. You may only switch to a new supplier if you have no outstanding debt with the current one. You are however still entitled to lower renewal prices. Ask for a renewal quote.
MY SUPPLIER SAYS WE HAVE ALREADY ROLLED ONTO HIGHER PRICES! CAN THEY DO THIS?
Yes they can. Unless they are informed during the renewal window of a wish to change your circumstances and a termination of contract then under OFGEM regulations they can keep you in contract for up to another 2 years! SPEAK TO US BEFORE THIS HAPPENS.
WHO WOULD OUR CONTRACT BE WITH?
The contract will still be between you and the business energy supplier, not with us.
We act as a Third Party Intermediary (TPi) to bring you lower business energy prices.
We may ask you to sign a letter of authority (LOA) which enable us to obtain industry
held data you may not have to hand. Such as current usage or contract end date. But this is not a binding contract.
HOW DO HYYPER GET PAID?
We are paid a commission by the supplier we place new or renewal business to. This commission is variable as it is proportionate to the amount of energy consumed by your business over the term of the fixed business energy contract.
